You can create a test case by following the steps below:
- Right click on the node you want to create the test case in. It can be a node of any level, from test project to test subsection. Click on Add Test Case menu item. An Add Test Case tab will appear.
- Enter all the necessary details. You can read more about the fields in the Field Reference article.
- Click on CREATE to create the test case or CREATE & NEXT to create a test case and open a new Add Test Case tab to create the next one.
TestFirst Web
Currently, custom fields are not supported in the web app. If you have any mandatory custom fields with no suggested value, you will not be able to save a test case in the web app. Please consider one of the below options:

If you need to work on multiple test cases at a time, or use one of them as a reference, you can do that by clicking and holding the respective tab and dragging it towards the arrows that appear on the screen. Hovering on the arrows while dragging the tab will give you a preview of the tab’s size and position. Pick any of them to dock the tab to the respective place. See the video below for reference. |
