Test Execution Module (TEM) is represented by a separate window which is displayed when you start test execution.
TEM runs the test step by step, each step having an option to set the step status using PASS, FAIL and BLOCK buttons, take screenshots, attach files and more. Setting status to a step will open the Annotation Module.
You can use shortcuts to set a status to a step:

Additionally, there are several other buttons available in TEM:
- Clicking the Pause icon pauses the current test execution and the elapsed time counter. When the test execution is paused, the button turns into a Play icon.
- Clicking the Play icon resumes the current test execution and the elapsed time counter. When the test execution is resumed, the button turns into a Pause icon.
- Clicking the Stop icon stops the current test execution adding a test result with Incomplete status to the test plan. You can later resume this test execution by simply executing the test from the test plan or from the Home page.
- Clicking the Settings icon opens the Settings dialog. Read more about the settings in Smart Hovering and Screenshot articles.
- Clicking the Info icon opens the View Test Summary dialog. Read more about it in View Test Summary article.
- Clicking the Go Backward and Go Forward arrow icons at the bottom of the window moves you one step back or forward.
If you have already added screenshots and/or attachments to a step, going backward will remove both the screenshots and the attachments. - Clicking on the Camera icon takes a manual screenshot of the selected display(s).
The user must have a Manage Screenshots permission for Test Execution Module. See Roles and Permissions for more details. - Clicking on the Paperclip icon opens the Attachment Upload dialog. You can drag and drop files here, or click the SELECT FILE(S) button to browse and select the file(s) you want to upload.
The file size of each attachment must be under 5 MB. The total size of all attachments must be under 20 MB. The user must have a Manage Attachments permission for Test Execution Module. See Roles and Permissions for more details.
TEM window can be dragged and dropped on any place on the screen. It can also be resized using standard Windows resizing controls. The latest size of TEM is remembered and next time it will open in the same size you set it to before.
