In order to be able to create bug reports in Jira from TestFirst, every user will have to configure their user details in the Integrations section of the TestFirst application.
In order to do that:
- Make sure that the Jira integration has been configured by your admin. In order to check:
- Click on the Integrations menu item in the left menu panel;
- If the integration has been configured, you will see INTEGRATION DETAILS header on the page. If you cannot see it, please ask your admin to configure the integration.
- Generate an API token in Jira using the instructions in the "Create an API token" section of this article. Copy the API token.
- Click the ADD USER button. An Add User dialog will be displayed.
- Type your email address in the Jira Email Address field.
- Paste the copied API token in the Jira API Token field.
- Click SAVE. Your user details will appear under the USER DETAILS header in the Integrations page.
In the USER DETAILS there are the following actions available:
- check the authentication status by clicking the CHECK button;
- edit your Jira credentials by clicking the EDIT button;
- delete your Jira credentials by clicking the DELETE button.
