Create a Test Case Fragment

In order to create a test case fragment (TCF):

1. Click the Test Case Management menu item. Test Case Management page will be displayed. 
2. Click the TEST CASE FRAGMENTS button at the top of the page. Test Case Fragments window will be displayed.
3. Click the ADD NEW TCF button. Add New TCF window will be displayed. 
4. Fill in the necessary details:
   • TCF Name (required) - an informative name for the test case fragment;
   • Browse and Select a Project - select the project in which the TCF will be used. If you don't want the TCF to be associated with any project, you can select the <No Project> option. By default, this value will be the project currently selected in the test case library.
   • Steps (required) - the sequence of test actions and respective expected results comprising the test case fragment. In order to add a step: 
     • Click the ADD NEW STEP button. A test step will appear with placeholder text for step action and expected result.
     • Replace the placeholder text with the text you need for this step in the TCF. 
     • Repeat the previous steps as many times as you have test steps in the TCF. 
5. Click the SAVE TCF button. The TCF will be saved, Add New TCF window will be closed, the list of TCFs in the Test Case Fragments window will be updated to include the newly added TCF.
