Insert a Test Case Fragment into a Test Case

In order to insert a test case fragment into a test case:

1. Either create a new test case or edit an existing one. 
2. In the Add Test Case/Edit Test Case tab, move to the STEPS section. Click the INSERT TEST CASE FRAGMENT button. Insert Test Case Fragment window will be displayed. 
3. In the window:
   • Pick the project in which the test case fragment was created.
   • Pick the TCF that you want to insert. The TCF's steps will load in the STEPS section. 
   • Select the location where the steps will be inserted. In the first dropdown at the bottom of the window, select before or after option. In the second dropdown, select the step before or after which you want to insert the test case fragment.

     If you do not have any steps in the test case yet, the location selection will not be available.

   • Click INSERT TCF if you are happy with the result, or click CANCEL if you don't want to insert the TCF in your test case.

In the test case, a test case fragment will be shown among the test case steps with a header in the following format: Name (steps x-y), where Name is the name of the test case fragment, x the sequential number of the first step of the test case fragment within the test case, and y is the sequential number of the last step of the test case fragment within the test case.
