Currently, the only customizable system field is Status - the status of a test case.
In order to customize it:
- Click on Customizations menu item on the left. Customizations page will be displayed.
- Click on the pencil icon in the ACTIONS column in the Status field row in System Fields table. Edit System Field dialog ill be displayed.
- Edit the necessary details. You can edit:
- Description - the description of the field.
- Dropdown Options - the options that will be suggested in the dropdown in a test case. Use the
x, value
format, where x is the sequential number of the dropdown option, starting with 0, and value is the value you want to be displayed in the dropdown. One line equals one dropdown option. - Default Value - the sequential number of the value that will be set to the Status field by default upon test case creation.
- Approved Status - the status which, when set to a test case, makes it ready for testing. Test cases with approved status will be selected by default during test plan creation/re-run.
- ETS Final Status - the status that will be set to a test case created using an exploratory test session.
- Click SAVE to save the changes to the Status system field. Click CANCEL if you changed your mind.
