Assignments

Prerequisites: the user has a View permission for Manager Dashboard.

Assignments is a part of the Manager Dashboard where you can view pending tests for execution. It is represented by a table with the following columns:

Column Description
TEST ID The ID of the test in the test plan
TITLE The title of the test
STATUS

The current status of the test in the test plan
ASSIGNED TO The name of the user the test is assigned to for execution
TEST PLAN The name of the test plan where the test is located
TEST PROJECT The name of the project of the test plan
ACTIONS

Contains the buttons for available actions: 

  • VIEW - opens a View Test dialog for the test in the row
  • ASSIGN - opens an Assign Test dialog where you can set the assignee for the test

Filters

You can apply filters to the Assignments table to view only the information you need. 

In order to do that:

  1. Click on the FILTER button. A list of available filter options will be displayed. 
  2. Select your criteria. 
  3. Click FILTER to apply the filter. Click outside of the filter options list to cancel.

Below you can find the list of available options in the filter:

  • Status
    • Incomplete
    • Untested
    • Blocked
    • Failed
    • Retest
    • Passed
  • Assign
    • Assigned
    • Unassigned
  • Assigned to
    • list of users who have any tests assigned to them
  • Test pan
    • the list of test plans in your organization
