TF Automate

1. Introduction

The Automated Screen Capture setting controls whether screenshots are taken during test execution. This setting applies differently across our three apps: Web/Desktop App and TF Automate.

2. TF Automate

Unlike the Web/Desktop app, the Automated Screen Capture setting in TF Automate is managed at an individual level. This means every user has access to modify their own preferences without restrictions.

When enabled, the system captures a screenshot for every executed test step, regardless of whether it is performed using a local or remote runner.

Steps to Configure:

• Open TF Automate.
• Go to the Test Case you want to modify.
• Look for the Screenshot toggle (located above the editor).
• Switch it on or off to adjust your screenshot settings.

Once configured, screenshots will be captured based on your preference for every test step you execute.
