1. Introduction
TF Automate supports headless mode for local automation test runs. This feature lets you execute tests without launching an external browser, while still viewing the test execution through the built-in preview panel inside TF Automate.
Headless mode helps reduce interruptions, save system resources, and streamline your local testing experience, all without losing visibility into the test.
2. Enabling Headless Mode
To enable headless mode for local automation runs:
- Open your test case in TF Automate.
- Click the Run locally button Located at the top right of the editor.
- Open the Options tab in the console section
- Toggle the "Headless mode" option to ON.
Your automation test will execute in the background without launching the browser.
Even with headless mode, you can watch your test execution live using TF Automate's built-in browser preview—no external browser window will open or interrupt your workspace. |
